AI tools can put an idea on screen in a weekend. That’s real progress, and plenty of good products start that way. But a demo isn’t a product. Real users bring real load, real data, payments, security, edge cases, and systems that don’t cooperate. That’s where most of the work is, and where most projects stall.
The usual agency doesn’t solve it either. They bill by the hour, so delays pay them. You meet a senior engineer at the pitch, then get handed to juniors you never interviewed.

Start with a Blueprint
Before anyone quotes you a build, you should know exactly what you’re building. The Blueprint gives you:
- A clear scope: what’s in, what’s out, and what can wait
- The architecture and technical plan
- A fixed price and timeline for the build
It’s yours to keep. Build with us, build with someone else, or hand it to a future hire. If you go ahead with us, the full $3,500 comes off the build.

Builds
Every product is different, and every prototype is at a different stage. So we don’t guess. Your Blueprint ends with one fixed number. That number doesn’t move unless you change what you’re asking for.
If your prototype is faster to rebuild than to build on, we’ll tell you, even if it means a smaller job for us.

How a fixed price stays fixed
Plenty of “fixed price” shops pad the quote, then send change requests to make up the rest. Here’s how ours works, in writing, before you sign:

If you want something new, we quote it first. You approve it or you don’t. Nothing starts until you say yes.
You pay at milestones, not up front.
Each payment comes after you’ve seen working software.

FAQ
Why isn’t the team on the site?
We’re small and deliberately low-profile. You’ll meet the engineer who’d build your project on the first call, before you commit to anything.
Where is the team based?
Led from Melbourne, with part of the team in India. We’ll be straight about that, because it’s nothing like what “offshore” usually means. Offshore normally means you brief an account manager, the work goes into a queue, and you get whoever’s free that week. Here it’s the same senior engineers from first call to launch, led and owned from Melbourne, with one person accountable for the outcome at a price that doesn’t move. The time zones help too: the team’s day overlaps your afternoon and evening, so your project moves forward daily instead of stalling overnight.
Why do you charge for the Blueprint when agencies quote for free?
Because a free quote is a sales document. It’s written to win the job, not to be right. The Blueprint is real engineering work: it’s what makes a fixed price possible, and it’s useful to you whether or not we build it. If it isn’t, you get your money back.
What if it takes longer than you quoted?
That’s our risk. The price only moves if the scope moves, and scope changes are quoted and approved before any work starts.
Can’t AI tools build this for free now?
They’ll get you a demo. They won’t get you a product. The gap between “it works on my screen” and “it’s safe, stable, and ready for real users” is most of the actual work: auth, security, edge cases, real data, integrations that don’t cooperate. That gap is what we do. It’s also why a lot of our projects start from a prototype someone built with AI.
Do you work alongside our team?
On projects, yes. We don’t rent out engineers to sit inside your team. That’s a different business and we’re not in it.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. Your repos, your cloud accounts, your keys.
What if we’re not sure what we need yet?
That’s what the Blueprint is for. Worst case, you walk away with a technical plan you can hand to anyone, or your money back.
